Collect, don't overdo it
Your rank comes from what you collect, not from how much you drink. A can you already own scores nothing. Caffeine figures show only for energy drinks, are estimates, and players under 18 do not see them.
Questions
What can I collect?
Cans of energy drinks, soda, water (still and sparkling) and kombucha. Each kind has its own shelf, score and leaderboard. Bottles and multipacks do not count. Iced tea, juice, sports drinks and coffee may come next: vote for them in the app.
Is CanMog free?
Yes. Scanning, collecting, ranks, friends, clans and leaderboards are free. Free players get 2 scans a day. CanMog Premium is an optional subscription with extra styles and features.
How do badges work?
You earn badges for the different cans on your shelf, the different brands, the cans of one brand, your first-ever finds and your streak days. Each badge has levels. Duplicates do not count, except for streaks. A badge never goes away, and you can show one as your title.
Is CanMog the same app as CaffeineMog?
Yes. CaffeineMog is now CanMog: with Soda, Water and Kombucha the game is about every can, not only energy drinks. Your account, collection, badges and Premium stay the same.
What do I get with Premium?
Profile and name effects, an animated avatar ring, a subscriber badge, profile and chat customization, caffeine insights with Apple Health on iPhone (18+ only) and no daily scan limit. Other players see your Premium style too.
What if the app does not know my drink?
CanMog checks its own catalog first, then Open Food Facts. If neither knows the barcode, add the can from the scan result or send a request, and we add it to the catalog.
How is rarity decided?
By ownership: the fewer collectors own a can, the rarer it is. Rarity can change as more people scan a can, and the can card keeps the tier you found it at.
Does drinking more help my rank?
No. Your rank comes from your score: the number of different cans you collect and how rare they are. A can you already own adds no points, and no purchase gives points.
Who can play?
CanMog is for people 16 and older. Users under 18 need a parent or guardian to agree to the Terms. If you collect energy drinks, the app asks if you are 18 or older: players under 18 see no caffeine numbers and get no streak reminders.
Which phones does it run on?
iPhone with iOS 18 or later, from the App Store, and Android phones, from Google Play.
